Ceramics came into my life at the perfect moment – when I needed space for something real, something close to me.
I’ve always enjoyed manual work, but it was only when I started working with clay that I truly felt this was it. The moment when the clay starts to take shape, and then after firing in the kiln, it turns into something permanent – it’s magical! WOW!
It’s work that requires patience, but it brings satisfaction. Every step of the process – from mixing glazes, through shaping, to waiting for the results in the kiln – teaches humility and enjoying the process. Ceramics is neither fast nor predictable. Maybe that’s why I love it so much. It teaches sensitivity, patience, and humility. The most beautiful part is what happens later. When someone holds my piece and says, „This is my favorite mug.” In those moments, I feel that what I do truly matters.
Ceramics is my passion, but also a way to bring people together at the table, in conversation, during those simple, yet special moments. Family is strength!
